Gastone Brilli Peri, Italian famous racing driver and world champion in 1925 with Alfa Romeo, was born in Florence, but spent much of his life in the city of Montevarchi, which he loved deeply. Inspired by his determination and audacity, the Torta Gastone offers a unique tasting experience. A soft dark cocoa sponge cake, enriched with a delicious orange jam and chocolate chips, delicately wet with an orange liquer which enhances its distinctive flavours.
