Curiosity:

Born in Montevarchi in the last decades of the sixteenth century, Francesco Mochi is remembered as one of the most important Italian sculptors, among the initiators of the Baroque. It is precisely inspired by the dynamism of his shapes (and exploiting the similarity between his surname and moka pot), that Bonci Pastry Shop has created the Mochi Cake: an hand-knitted dough with hazelnut flour, expertly soaked in espresso coffee liquer. A unique experience for the palate, characterized by the softness of a fortified taste.

Ingredients:

Soft wheat flour, pasteurized free-range eggs, butter (milk), sugar, dark chocolate in drops 20% (cocoa mass 48%, sugar, cocoa butter, emulsifier: soy lecithin), alcoholic syrup (alc 15% vol.) of imbibition 16% (water, sugar, ethyl alcohol, coffee infusion and distillate 30%, natural flavours), almond flour 3%, hazelnut flour 3%, Raising agent: diphosphates, sodium carbonates, corn starch, soft wheat starch, chopped hazelnuts, cocoa, coffee powder, salt.

Produced in laboratories that use: hazelnuts, walnuts, almonds, pistachios, milk powder, milk proteins, soy lecithin. Product may contain traces of nuts.
